Calm & Strong Yoga is here to support you through the transitions of pregnancy and postpartum. Whether you’re preparing for birth or reconnecting with your body after, these classes offer a safe and nurturing space to move, breathe, and feel cared for.
  • Calm & Strong – Pregnancy Yoga

    Sunday 12:30–13:30 (60 min)

    Focus: Support your body and mind throughout pregnancy and prepare for childbirth with mindful movement, breathing practices, and meditation. These classes are designed to meet the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy while developing a deep connection with your baby.

    Designed For: Anyone expecting a baby, whether you’re new to yoga or experienced. This practice is safe and beneficial throughout pregnancy, however I recommend joining group classes after the first 8 weeks. If you’d like to start sooner, please contact me beforehand.

    Benefits:
    • Build strength and endurance to support your changing body.
    • Relieve tension in the lower back, hips, shoulders, and neck.
    • Improve posture and stability with gentle pelvic floor and core work.
    • Cultivate calm and focus with relaxation and breathing techniques, helpful for labor and beyond.

    What to Bring: All props, including mats and blocks, are provided. Feel free to bring your own for extra comfort.
  • Calm & Strong – Postpartum Yoga

    Sunday 14:00 - 15:00 (60 min)

    Focus: Befriend your body, rebuild strength, and find balance no matter how long it’s been since you gave birth. These classes not only help restore core stability and mobility but also provide a nurturing space to reconnect with yourself and find ease in your postpartum journey.

    Designed For: Birthing parents at any time after giving birth, whether weeks, months, or even years beyond. You can join as early as 6 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth or 8-12 weeks postpartum after a C-section, once cleared for gentle movement by your doctor.

    Benefits:
    • Rebuild core stability and pelvic floor function.
    • Feel more confident in your body.
    • Support overall health and wellbeing.
    • Release tension in the shoulders, neck, and back—common areas of strain from caregiving.
    • Enjoy moments of peace and self-care to recharge your body and mind.

    • Welcoming and inclusive: A safe environment where every body is honoured and supported.
    • Flexible: Drop-in format allows you to join when it fits your schedule.
    • Open Door Policy: Life with a newborn is unpredictable—there’s no pressure in this class if you arrive late or can only participate in the final relaxation. I’m here to support you in every step of your journey, creating a safe space where you can be yourself.
    You’re welcome to join with your baby or come solo and enjoy some time for yourself. This class warmly welcomes babies until they start to crawl.

    What to Bring: All props, including mats and blocks, are provided. Feel free to bring your own for extra comfort. If you’re joining with your baby, bring a towel or a blanket so they feel comfortable on the yoga mat.
